Welcome to Abram Church

Welcome to the website of Abram St John the Evangelist Parish Church. The Church is located in the centre of Abram Village, near Wigan, Lancashire. The current building was consecrated in 1937 to replace the previous building which had stood on the site since 1838.  We are a friendly and welcoming Church and hope that you can use this website to get all the information you need about our services and events. Come and join us on Wednesday mornings, in the Vestry, from 10:30am til 12 noon for a full english breakfast, bacon sandwiches etc. Everyone welcome.

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday 22nd February

Come along to the Ash Wednesday service on 22nd February, with Holy Communion, with the imposition of ashes at 10am and 7pm.
